ABOUT THE PROJECT
Rome in Silver, born Vinny Pisciotta, hails from California, USA, and is an electronic music producer. He gravitates towards the energetic and bass-driven elements of dance music.
In the summer of 2023, Vinny approached us to create a music video for his single Waiting. He shared his admiration toward one of our art film called Beautiful Disaster from 2021, directed by Vicki, our founder at fromanother, believing it would complement the mood of his new song.

The Idea
Vinny placed full trust in our creative process, with his only request being the inclusion of dragonfly image in the music video, while maintaining the mood akin to our previous film. We crafted a narrative centered around a group of dragonflies inhabiting a garden, their nocturnal journey unfolding to evoke otherworldly sensations as they traverse through captivating imagery.
Music & Light
In the music video, Vinny's unique musical style plays a pivotal role in shaping the lighting atmosphere. We carefully choose specific synths and vocal elements from the song and synchronize each layer with the lighting system within our 3D environment. This integration results in captivating and dynamic visuals of the dragonflies, breathing life into the mesmerizing garden setting.
